Paris has immense variety of entertainments, from spicy extravagance of Moulin Rouge to family fun in Disneyland. Among multitudinous family entertainments are Bateaux Mouches (fly boats), open excursion boats that provide visitors to Paris with a view of the city from along the river Seine. The Beach in Paris, a result of grandiose Paris Plage project, with its palm trees along two miles of gold sand, is the manmade Seine beach, resembling of those in Palma de Mallorca. Disneyland Paris, a realm of fun and magus, is the European version of Disney Empire famous park. Its typically French counterpart, Astérix amusement park is situated 35 km north of Paris, in beautiful green setting with seven adventure area, 6 shows and 27 attractions.

The Seine quays are Parisians’ most popular places for walking, gathering in informal ambience, watching sunset over the Seine, and, remarkably, dancing. Lots of people of all ages dance tango, salsa, waltz or rock’n’roll to the music of outdoor orchestras. The tradition reaches back for centuries. Another typical Parisian event is organized bicycle tours, very popular either with the natives or tourists. The variety of routes covers places of interest in the centre. Le Tour de France, late Jul, finishes on the avenue des Champs-Elysées.
